Neural Filters Won't Use GPU

Hey there! It looks like neural filters (specifically "style transfer") aren't utilizing my GPU and are instead processing everything on the CPU.

I have double checked that my GPU is compatible, enabled, and the mode is "D3D12".

Any help?

If in the Neutral Filters interface you click on the three small dots to the right of Wait List

as shown in the screenshot below, is Use graphics processor (GPU) checked?

If you have an older GPU, even with Use graphics processor checked, the Neutral Filters can take awhile.

Not that I've done any exhaustive testing, but AFAIK not all the neural filters do use the GPU. So it may be perfectly normal.

Checking the box just ensures the GPU is available for those that do.

Do you know which ones use the GPU? The one I was trying to use is "style transfer" which seems like it would be best to utilize a GPU for, but I may be wrong.

How are you determining that only the CPU is being used?

How old is your computer, what version of windows and graphics card do you have?

Task manager has the CPU usage spiking when applying them, with the GPU remaining stable at low load. I'm running the latest version of Windows 11 23H2. As for GPU, it's a 3080 with driver version 551.23 (latest), and I have no integrated graphics in my machine.

Thank you for the reply! It appears to be checked, but the issue persists.
