Sonoma 14.1.2

Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.2.0 20231121.r.196 12a6c2a arm64

I downloaded the newest Photoshop.  BNow when I do a scan, it will not let me edit.  For example, when I try to cut a portion of the graphic I get "Photoshiop can't do this - clisk here to fix."  When I click I get taken to an Apple System Forum, and I have no idea what the problem is that I have to fix.  I appreciate any help you can give me.  I have used Photoshop for years but this newest verysion is full of bugs - remember WORD 4 update disaster years ago?  This is very similar.

@roch340370670oe2 is your scan plugin intel only - requiring you to run Photoshop in Rosetta mode perhaps?

@roch340370670oe2

In addition to providing your system information as requested:

  • What file format are your scans?
  • Are they in a folder where you have read/write permissions? (Try moving one.)
  • Is the layer a pixel layer or has the PDF been OCR'd?
  • What are your steps when trying to cut?
  • Can we see the error message plus the link at Apple that it takes you to?

Hi @roch340370670oe2

Go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.
