No Generative Upscale option in 26.11

I have updated to PS 26.11 but Image->Generative Upscale is not there. My gpu is compatible, I am using rgb color space and the image I am using is pretty tiny. My preferences dont show it as a technical option to tick.

What gives?

Generative Upscale is currently available in Photoshop (beta) only. Please head here to get started: https://adobe.ly/3Vw1JPU;

You can get Photoshop (beta) from the Apps Tab > Beta Apps menu in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Then please remove the Generative Upscale alerts/prompts that keep appearing in the 26.11 version. Literally telling you to use it with a non-functional link.

Exactly. I found this thread because Photoshop 2025 literally pops up a message telling you to try generative upscale, but it’s not there!
