Not Able To Find Photoshop.exe

Hi All,

just an observation after yesterday's PS 2024, 25.0 update ... and might help others / avoid lengthy fiddling around.

It updated of course PS and Bridge.

After successful installation I tried to open an image from Bridge, as usual.

But I get the message: Photoshop.exe cannot be found (in that sense)

Solution:

Open Bridge  > Preferences > File Type Associations > scroll to Photoshop Document (PSD, etc).

What I've discovered was something 'Microsoft picture Viewer' or so (cannot remember exactly)

In the dropdown menu it offers "Photoshop", but rather putting that in (which might work just fine?) I chose "Browse" and went to: Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop 2024 > find the Photoshop.exe file and open - which will introduce "Adobe Photoshop 2024 25.0" into the field in Bridge/File Type Association.

Problem solved.
