OM-1 Mark II 12 bit Tripod Mode Images can't be opened in Camera RAW or LightRoom Classic

The OM-1 Mark II can create either 12 bit or 14 bit High Resolution images (Pixel Shift).  This can be done in either Handheld mode which creates 50mp files or in Tripod Mode which creates 80mp images.

The 12 bit Tripod Mode images can not be opened in Photoshop or imported into LightRoom Classic.  Strangely enough, the 14 bit images can be opened,  and that is a new function in the Mark II version of the Camera.  It is just the 12 bit tripod mode high resolution images that fail.

The 12 bit Handheld mode images can be opened as well as the 14 bit Handheld mode images.

I would attach an example file to this post, but the limit says 47 mb.  The 12 bit example I have is 65.6 mb.

I've tried this with several images just to validate that the image wasn't somehow corrupted on the memory card.

I just wasted 40 minutes of my life with Adobe customer support trying to figure out why I couldn't import the OM-1 high res files into Lightroom. After I hung up with no answer, I decide to search the help section and came across your post. I revised the settings from 12 bit to 14 bit and it worked! I can import now, so thank you fellow OM user. 🙂

I should have noted in the original post that I'm on LightRoom Classic 13.2, Camera RAW 16.2.
