Question

OPT+Click Layer (in Layers Panel) zooms canvas - How do you disable

On a Mac M series running Photoshop 24.7.1.

Just so there isn't confusion on what panel I'm refering too.
Inside the Layers panel, lets say I have 3 layers. Bottom later is base BKG, middle layer is a icon, top layer is a text layer.

If I OPT+Click any layer the canvas zooms up - scales up to fit the contents of that layer to screen.

Q: can anyone tell me how to disable?

(There's enough going on in the world that is shortening my life - please help 🙂

@2060282415CFA you can't disable that. It's a part of the new and modrn Photoshop. And you can't even create a keyboard shortcut... another new process to learn I guess?!

I found this thread from 2019 where @davescm wrote: "If you want to zoom you Alt-Click just to the left of the arrow. Alt clicking on the arrow expands the groups as it used to."

The Feedback site was merged with the Community forums a few years ago, so none of those links work.

Can you try Option+Click on the arrow and also to the left of it to confirm that this still works?
