P: PS v27.3 Clarity & Dehaze Adjustment layer is paused when editing layers

On 27.3 Release, when you use a tool such as eraser or paint brush, when you click your mouse to use the tool, the picture you're working on brightens for the time you click on the mouse.

Hey, @Contemporary_Dave, @ExUSA & @Ged_Traynor. Thanks for adding the details. While it is easy to miss, a coachmark appears when you use the new Adjustment layer for the first few times.

This behavior is currently expected and specific to this kind of Adjustment layer. This was pointed out in a slightly different way by @c.pfaffenbichler here:

Exactly, no notification showed for me but I had assumed correctly as to the cause.

I noticed this last night, only it was the opposite- the canvas dimmed slightly. I’m going to test further on a different computer, I was using my M1 Mac mini and I’m wondering if it was caused by a Clarity layer.

@Contemporary_Dave this could be an issue with a GPU driver, can you post your system info from the help menu, go to Help > System Info, hit the copy button and paste the entire thing into this thread
