Paint Bucket Tool - Pattern Default - WHYYY?

For some reason - the Paint Bucket Tool is set to Pattern mode by default... Why though?

This was never like this, but it seems it's changed in PS Beta. Can we please set the default to forground color? That should of course be the default, no? Who is filling with a pattern?

I know I should be filling with the shortcut. But sometimes I forget; it's just faster to hit G and click... only to now get a pattern instead of it filling the foreground color. I now have to go up and select foreground color every, single, time.
