Pattern Preview can't paint over edges any more?

In Pattern Preview, I cannot paint over, heal, or do anything across the edges. I used to be able to paint over the edge. Now I can't work past the edges (seen in the dark triangle painted area). Using latest verison, PS 25.7

    Works as expected here, could you please post screenshots the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible? 

    What does Help > GPU Compatibility indicate?
