Pencil thickness Photoshop

Question

Since I got a new desktop and installed Photoshop version 25.12.3, the pixel thickness specified for my pencil no longer matches the actual width. For example, when I enter "1 px" in the box next to the pencil, I get a line 2 pixels thick. With higher values, e.g., 4, 5, or 12 px, the lines are always 2 pixels thicker than the specified value. How do I ensure that the specified value matches the actual width?

Thanks for your reply. I've since found the solution by chance. I lowered the sensitivity of my Wacom pen's tip, and then the specified pixel value suddenly matched the number of pixels in the image.

Are you viewing with zoom set to 100% actual pixel size? Is your screen scaling set to something other than 100% If the above does not help, then can you show us a screen shot demonstrating the issue?
