Photomerge freezes

Photoshop (latest, 26.10.0) freezes when trying to start Photomerge and does not respond to Photoshop commands. The only way out is to stop Photoshop with the Task Manager.

I have the exact same problem...as soon as I hit “Photomerge” it freezes up and the only way to make it respond again is to restart. I tried all the fixes the AI suggested, to no avail.

@alana53908062 try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

If that doesn't help, can you post your Photoshop system info, in Photoshop go to Help > System Info, hit the copy button and paste the entire thing into this thread
