Photoshop 2024 - 25.9.0 is experiencing a one-second delay with each tool or menu interaction

Hello, 

I’ve been experiencing a one-second lag with each tool or menu interaction in my Photoshop  2024. I’ve tried various solutions such as uninstalling and reinstalling my Nvidia video drivers, adding Photoshop.exe to the exceptions list in Bitdefender, and checking all options in the Photoshop preferences. I also tested the GPU options by unchecking and testing each option, one by one, restarting Photoshop each time.

None of these solutions worked! And again, I tried everything I could in the Preference options. It was only when I completely unchecked the GPU option that the problem was resolved! There were no more lags!

Conclusion: this suggests that there might be a significant issue with either my Nvidia drivers or Photoshop 2024’s compatibility with Nvidia drivers. Today, I’ve chosen to disable the GPU option in Photoshop, completely. I plan to wait for a new update before re-enabling it and checking if the performance improves.

Please, ADOBE... contact Nvidia, and fix this issue with them. Thank you!
