Photoshop 2025 Crop Tool Bug: Unable to Rotate Image or Use Straighten Tab in Version 26

Photoshop 26. 2025

The ability to rotate an image while cropping has stopped working.

The straighten tab is grayed out. I haven't used the straighten tab so I don't know whether the tab is grayed out for some reason or setting.

But I definitley cannot rotate the image while cropping.

Any and all help is much appreciate.

Sorry it took me a week to get back to you. Thank you for your offer to help. Now the level crop function seems to have re-appeared. I have no idea what changed. I did update to the latest Mac OS, 15.7.1. But who knows. Quien sabe? Your offer of help is very much appreciated. Christopher

I wonder if they use GPU acceleration. Can you check Preferences > Perfoprmance and make sure that Use GPU is checked?

I'd be happy to help troubleshoot what's going on. Could you share a screenshot of your workspace and system info? You can find this by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here.
