Hello fellow sufferers!

how do i .....  get rid of "select subject remove background" box photoshop 2026

 

it is in front of image i am editing and wont move!

As @creative explorer asked, that is the Contextual Task Bar. 

You can turn it on and off from the bottom of the Window menu.

I have added a shortcut to toggle it on and off using F3  (as you can see in the screenshot)

There is an option to Pin the CTB which will cause it to remain wherever you place it.  I like to park it on n empty part of the Options bar.

It is incredibly useful though, so give it chance to grow on you.  It makles a decent guess and placing the function you need next to where you are working on the screen.  Way faster than trawling though menus.

@Xx5FCD Hmmm, I don't have this floating bar? Are you talking about the Contextual Task Bar? There should be three dots at the end, click on that and hide Contextual Task Bar
