I use Photoshop 2026. It save files as .jpeg, even I have chosen .png format. I have checked mode RGB, at Preferances is ,png with transparency. Please, help!

@GetB If you are seeing an option for JPEG but the option for PNG is grayed out or the file defaults to JPEG despite your choice, it means your image contains data that the PNG format does not support. The images cannot be CMYK. PNG will not be available. Also,  if it's set to 32 Bits/Channel, the PNG format will be unavailable. Change it to 8 Bits/Channel or 16 Bits/Channel.
