Question

Photoshop 2026 UI appears glitched or incomplete. Menus, panels, and dialogs sometimes render incorrectly. My NVIDIA RTX 2060 is detected as compatible. How can I fix this UI rendering issue?

Menus and panels appear distorted or incomplete. GPU compatibility check passes, but the UI still glitches.

Update the Nvidia driver first. Make sure you install the Studio driver, not the Game Ready driver. Check “clean install” to remove all traces of the old driver.

If you have a dual graphics laptop, conflicts are always a potential issue. Photoshop cannot control which GPU is used at any time, that’s controlled by how the laptop manufacturer has configured the operating system and the two drivers. The integrated GPU can be disabled in Windows Device Manager.

Next, reset Photoshop preferences. Corrupt preferences can give odd and unexpected symptoms. The most complete way is to locate the “Adobe Photoshop 2026 Settings” folder in your user account, and move it to the desktop so a fresh one can be rebuilt. Save out custom actions, brushes etc first.
