Photoshop 25.0 - after update Neural filters don't use GPU

Hi all,

after updating to PS 25.0 Neural filters use CPU instead of the RTX 3090. In the 24.0 and in the beta version prior to this update it all worked flawlessy.

GPU is activated in preferences and Compatibility is all green. I'm on windows 10 Pro 22H2 (19045.3570), Nvidia driver version 537.42 (not studio version).

What can i try? I had some issue with Lightroom, but found a solution on this forum. I modified a config file forcing LR to recheck GPU compatibility.

Thank you,

Dario

Hi @Dario88 one recommendation is PS prefers the Studio drivers not Gaming which could be adding to the issue.

I imagined that. I'll try to wait some minor updates and see if the problem will be solved and if not than give a try with  studio drivers. I recently swapped GPU and did a fresh reset of the driver with DDU, maybe I'll try updating them and see whats happens. Thank you @Kevin Stohlmeyer

It's up to you but just letting you know running the Gaming drivers will lead to continued issues in PS.
