Photoshop 26.1 substance material settings changed and do not reacting as expected

Question

Files from PS 25.12 connected to a substance material, change in color when for example changing the pattern amount. Due to the new settings (25.12 'lighting' with 4 options) and 26.1 'render' with much more options, the lighting can not be restored to its previous settings.

This way a lot of my files are useless in the new photoshop version.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
