Photoshop 27.8.0 freezes when typing "-" and pressing space (Auto Bulleted Lists issue)

I am experiencing a freeze issue in Photoshop 27.8.0 on macOS 26.5.2.
Whenever I type a hyphen (-) followed by a space while using the Type Tool, Photoshop completely freezes and becomes unresponsive, requiring a Force Quit.

The issue occurs when typing “System Overview”, then pressing Enter, and then typing a hyphen (-) followed by a space. At that point, Photoshop immediately freezes.

This behavior is reproducible, and I have also attached a screen recording demonstrating the issue. The issue only occurs when “Automatic detection of Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing” is enabled, and it is resolved when this option is disabled.
