Photoshop 7.0 and Windows 10

I would like to know if Photoshop 7.0 will work with a Windows 10 system as it has with Windows XP and Windows 7.0.  I get all I need out of PS 7.0 so I don't want to buy an upgrade when I already have what I want.  The question also applies to Adobe ImageReady 7.0 which came with the PS 7.0 bundle.

And, has anyone tried Gimpshop which is a freeware and a recommended alternative to Photoshop for those who only use the simple versions.

Photoshop 7 can't handle modern computer memory.  You're likely to receive "scratch disk full" and "unable to save file" errors.  Is it really worth all that hassle to keep using obsolete software from 2002?! 😯
