Photoshop, Bridge and Camera raw serveral memory errors, running out of memory
Hi,
while working with Photoshop, Bridge and Camera raw, all apps keep producing memory errors. Using filters in Photoshop results in an almost certain memory error stating PS is running out of RAM.
For Bridge & Camera raw the errors are mostly related to GPU memory.
Looking at the situation while working, all errors seem like BS because there is always enough memory available. For example PS uses like 8 Gb of the RAM, the whole system uses like 45 - 55% including PS and PS is running out of memory. Same with the GPU.
My system:
Windows 10 Pro latest version
Adobe stuff on latest version
All drivers newest version
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
32,0 GB RAM
GeForce RTX 4070
I do just basic photo editing with maybe up to 5 layers. The previous version of PS worked just fine with my ages old GPU which was a GTX 580 with only 1,5 Gb of memory. There was never any issue doing just the same stuff as now. So i wonder if Adobe isn't able anymore to do proper memory management and if there is any solution to this problem? It is not possible to work like this, an error occurs like every 10 - 15 min. Most times a reboot is required.
Yes I did set up everything new, even windows!
