photoshop can not export edited raw files

Question

l am using Photoshop 27.8 with Windows 11 on my Lenovo Thinkbook 2025 which currently can not process RAW files after editing. When output of files is clicked to process, an icon pops up showing that an error occurred and needs to close. It also says that an error report has been generated asking whether “send report” to help them analyze the cause of the problem and explore solutions. l did have installed an older version 22.2 which works fine without any problem, but the version 27.7 is not. Is there anyone who can tell me what led to the error and how it can be resolved?

That sounds like your GPU is not supported or not working correctly. Version 22.2 had much lower requirements from the GPU. What worked then might not work now.

If you post the full Help > System Info from Photoshop, it lists the full GPU configuration and we can probably say more.

In the meantime, read this and see if anything here helps. In particular, scroll all the way down to troubleshooting section 7, “Check and delete the TempDisableGPU3 or TempDisableGPU2 files”. With luck, that’s all it takes.
