In photoshop cc when using Field Blur I no longer have a slider adjuster for the amount of blur. Any suggestions please?

Select View > Show > Edit Pins.

I did that and it showed me the little dial

As Dave mentioned you should see this Panel/and expand to see slider.

Hi mjbelt, Thanks for that but your screen dump confirms Dave's reply but my version is different (see my screen dump). I fear that I re(set) something and lost my slider????? Any further suggestion please

Thanks for your time

Hi Vince,

I'm working on memory, but I think Field Blur came out around CS6, but Smart Object with Field Blur came out a couple of versions later.

Go to Photoshop > About and tell us your version (Help > About if you are on Windows).

Hi

Presumably you have clicked the arrow to make the slider visible?

If so, go to the right of the options bar at the top of the Blur gallery workspace and click the down arrow then reset Blur Gallery

Thanks for the reply to my problem. It would appear that my version of photoshop and yours are not the same.

As I go into Field Blur this is what I get -:

The image is blurred with no apparent way of adjusting the blur. The adjustment panel (top right) cannot be used at this stage but in any case the various icons will only adjust exposure, contrast, etc.

Any further suggestions please?

Thanks

Vince
