Mac Os Ventura 13.0.1 closes unexpectedly shortly after opening Photoshop 2023.

The problem I have had with previous versions of both my operating system and previous versions of Photoshop.

I only have this problem with Photoshop, I can open any other application without problem.

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold  Option+Command+Shift (macOS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings. You can also reset preferences upon a quit if Photoshop is running by going into General Preferences>General>Reset on Quit.

Try logging into another user account (you may need to make one), still crashing?
Try starting up in Safe mode (hold down Shift Key when booting), still crashing?
You might want to try running a free utility like Onyx: still crashing?

I reset the Photoshop preferences, and now Photoshop works perfect.

Thanks for the advice, 🙂

Two things if the reset recommended by @TheDigitalDog does not work

1. Make sure Photoshop is listed and activated under Apple System Prefs/Security and Privacy/Full Disk Access.

2. How much Scratch Disk space do you have available?

@Judith21926053xpp9 I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system. If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address. Instructions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash.
