Photoshop Crash at Print

This has got to do with Photoshop App Crashes when hitting the Print Button.

I have 2 PCs both running Photoshop 2025 and 2026 running on Windows 11.
The odd thing is I can print out a file in one PC but not on another PC. It crashes every time I hit the print button in the Print Menu.

To divert but with the same problem I experienced is with a Canon Scanner which I was unable to print a perfect image as it comes out with a thick 1cm black line vertically right in the middle of the image. I had brought this to the attention of Canon and Microsoft. Canon replied that the model has no update on the driver and MS never replied.

A year later… odd as it seems….. my Canon Lide 110 just sprang back to life and scanning was perfect.

Now who to point the finger to. I suspect the frequent updatings on the app and windows may have an effect on this.

Anyway…. this is something to probe into.

    Hi @petercwho,

Apologies for the delayed response. Has the crash stopped, or is Photoshop still crashing when you click Print?

    If you haven’t already, please:

    • Update to Photoshop 27.4

    • Test printing again and confirm whether it still crashes

As Jane suggested earlier in the thread, reinstalling or updating the printer driver is often the right first step.

If it still crashes and you see the Adobe Crash Reporter, then please submit the report and make sure to include the same email ID you use on this community.

Once it's been submitted, please let me know, and I can check the crash logs on the backend.

    Looking forward to your update.

    Regards,

    Anshul Saini

    @petercwho
We don’t have the ability to move posts (yet), so can you please repost in the Photoshop forum?

Two quick things to try that I’ve seen work for others:

    1. Hold down Spacebar and hit Print to reset your print dialog
    2. Reinstall your printer driver

Adobe staff moved your post to the Photoshop forum, so it’s here now. Did either of these steps help or do you still need assistance?
