Pretty simple issue, i just installed Photoshop 26.2.0 on my Apple M4 Pro. Each time i am trying to select Neural Filters - Photoshop crashes.

Before you give me an advise -  I did it all:

1. Unchecked and checked all options in Settings > Performance.

2. Reinstalled and installed older Photoshop

3. Removed all Adobe files and Reinstalled Adobe Creative cloud and Photoshop from the scratch.

4. Deleted preferences manually and automatically

5. Started up Photoshop with Command+Option+Shift

...And aso i can not do quick export as PNG

"Could not complete the Quick Export as PNG command because of a program error."

The only thing that i can think of:

I moved my old Macbook Pro files to the new one using Migration Assistant... Maybe this is the problem?

Thank you fo your help in advance!

Since this is a very odd case i had to do some digging and apparently i fixed it! Yeey:)

This is for people who may experience similar issues in the future!

Basically when you migrate content from older mac to new this can happen.

First of all I had to remove ~Library/ApplicationSupport alias folder and keep only "Application Support" folder with the space in the title.

Second of all after I created another account on this Mac and installed Photoshop I copied this "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/PluginsStorage/PHSP/23" folder content and paste it into my initial account folder that I created. And after i gave this folders "UXP/PluginsStorage/PHSP" my account permissions "Read and Write" all magically started working!

Cheers

Hey, @olenao76648879. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

I couldn't find crash reports submitted with the account you've signed in to the community with. If you see a crash dialogue, submit it with your Adobe ID. Check here for more steps: https://adobe.ly/3Wpjx0B

We've seen some reports arising with machines set up with Migration Assistant, but there isn't a definite pattern, so we still can't rule out the possibility.

Also, have you tried using Photoshop (beta)? Go to Creative Cloud > Apps section > Beta Apps tab.

Try these steps to get Photoshop to behave as expected:

  • Reset Photoshop following only the second (manually) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/3DwR2qr
  • Ensure Photoshop has the required permissions on macOS: https://adobe.ly/3DyUwsz
  • Go to the following location to launch Photoshop via the terminal.
In Finder > Application Folder > Photoshop 2025 Folder > Right-click on Photoshop .app > Show Package Contents > Contents > macOS > Lightroom - double click to open.

Share the log of what you see in the terminal window when Photoshop Launches.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!
