Photoshop crashes on startup (first time using)

Hello,

I have a new Dell XPS 15 9530. I've been using Illustrator and In Design adobe creative cloud apps with no issue. I recently downloaded the Photoshop app and started it up. It immediately crashed. I tried disabling my antivirus software and reinstalling photoshop. I can't figure out why it keeps crashing. Any advice is appreciated. Thx

It's the graphics processor (GPU). Not that I can read crash reports, but it always is.

If this is a dual GPU laptop, you'll need to disable one of them. Dual GPUs tend to conflict. See section 6 & 7 here:

You can check if it's possible to update the GPU driver from the manufacturer. That's usually not possible with Dell, you have to use Dell's own drivers.
