Photoshop crashes when moving artboards

Please check the Windows event logs (especially Application and System) if there entries that related to the chrash/freeze of the PC and/or Photoshop.

Freeze and crashes are very different things. And the computer freezing vs Photoshop freezing are very different things. A system hang or freeze requiring a computer restart usually means a low level failure such as a driver (bad video card driver, etc), failing hardware (hard disk, video card, etc.) or damaged OS installation.

I dont' have crash reports as I either have to end the task myself, or my whole machine freezes up and I have to restart it which there is no crash report. If you could let me know where I can find the crash data, I'll share it.

Please post your Photoshop system info.  Goto Help > System Info and copy and paste that in this thread

You can also try the following:

1. Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
2. Go to Preferences > Performance... and uncheck Use Graphics Processor. Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?
