Photoshop crashes when opening since 26.10

Hello, ever since PS 26.10 I have the same problems, same for 26.11 and now 27.
Photoshop screen is loading, I get a millisecond the black opening screen and then it closes.

Tried already everything, deleted preferences, drivers are updated, Nvidia Control panel is adjusted to high performance for PS.

26.9 works perfectly, but since then something seems to get into conflict.
In Safe Mode it does work...

Hi, thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry about the trouble!

Would you mind sharing the version of Windows you're working on? Do you get a crash report when the app crashes, and have you submitted any crash reports? I wasn't able to find any crash reports using the ID you've used to sign in to the Community.

Please ensure you have all available Windows updates installed on your computer along with the latest Studio drivers from NVidia for the GPU you have on the machine.

You can also check out the steps here: https://adobe.ly/4oE6t2f

Thanks,

I'm using the lastest version of Windows 11.
No crash reports are generated after the app closes, therefore I'm not able to submit anything.

WIndows and all Nvidia drivers are up to date.

Hey, @alessandro_3753. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. I couldn't find an active subscription, and any crash reports submitted with the account you've signed in to the community with.

If you don't see a crash dialogue, you can go to Microsoft Event Viewer from the Windows Search. In the Event Viewer > go to Application Logs and look for any errors.

Try launching Photoshop from the Creative Cloud desktop app. If that does not help, try these suggestions:

Go to the location of the preference folder below and rename it to backup.

  • Windows 10/11: Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
  • You can press Press the Windows key > Enter 'Run' > Enter %APPDATA%\Adobe
  • Rename the Adobe Photoshop folder by adding a .old at the end. (Adobe Photoshop 2025/26 > Rename > Adobe Photoshop 2025/26. old), You can restore these preferences later if needed.(https://adobe.ly/4860qM9)
  • Restart the computer.

These changes will give a fresh start to Photoshop as a fresh install. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!
