Photoshop crashing when opening image files

RAM 16.0 GB 

NVIDIA T1000

Windows 10 Pro 21H2

Photoshop version 24.0.1 (have also rolled back to 23.5.2)

Each time I try and open an image file in Photoshop the application instantly comes up with a 'send error report' box and then closes.

I have tried resetting my preferences, installing and reinstalling, clearing the font cache, rolling back versions, turning off my GPU settings, uninstalling plugins, and deactivating native canvas.

I've run out of ideas from the internet, anyone feel like helping a guy out? I'm unable to work 😞
