Photoshop Crop Tool (Automatic)
When using the Crop Tool one can use the option to save cropped pixels (by disabling "Delete cropped pixels) so that the cropping is nondestructive. And when using the "trim" command (Image —> Trim) it is possibe to automate cropping based on e.g. transparent pixels. – It would be really helpful when the Crop Tool would habe this option too.
That would be: when selecting the Crop Tool one would find a new button in the options bar (tool options) that — similar to the "trim" command — allows to crop the image based on transparent pixels (so that all surrounding transparent pixels are cropped), but — and this is the important enhancement — i a non destructive way! The pressing this button would automatically(!) set the preselection (the cropping marquee) around the wanted image motif without the surrounding transparent pixels, so that one then could confirm the (if chosen so: non-destructive) cropping.
