Photoshop CS6 physical 2015

Hello,

I have a serial number for my Photoshop CS6 that I bought in 2015 with life license.

Now, when I try to enter my serial number during installation it claims:

The serial number you entered has been revoked. This product cannot be installed. It may have been blocked due to improper use, or because we no longer support new activations of legacy software.

Would appreciate any help, I don't want to lose my life license, even if it's old, it's still "life license"..

Thank you!

Nela

@nela_m  Not a lawyer but there is no such thing as a "life license". Adobe has been clear that terms for CS6 (and older licensed softwares) were "perpetual" as defined during the "license term" - which expired after subsequent updates:

"Any obligations that Adobe may have to support Prior Versions during the License Term may end upon the availability of this Update. "

There really is no recourse if your serial number shows as revoked - the link sent above ultimately takes you to Adobe Genuine Software page which gives you links to subscribe to CC.

Did you buy it direct from Adobe?
What sometimes happens is that unscrupulous 'dealers' sell 'individual licenses' that are actually seats on a Team/Enterprise license. Doing that breaks the license terms and when it comes to light the license is revoked.
If the message has a contact for Adobe Genuine Software then use that to confirm if the license is actually revoked and what options you have.
