Photoshop does not come to the foreground when double-clicking an image with Alt

I'm experiencing an issue where Photoshop does not automatically come to the foreground when I double-click an image file while holding the Alt key.

Instead of bringing the Photoshop window to the front, the application remains in the background, even though the image opens successfully.

This is particularly inconvenient when working with multiple applications, as I have to manually switch back to Photoshop every time.

Is anyone else experiencing this behaviour? Is this a known issue or a Windows-related limitation?

Environment:

• Windows 11

• Adobe Photoshop (latest version)

It would be great if Adobe could look into this behaviour and provide a fix.
