Hello,
I’m having an issue with Adobe Photoshop on my Windows laptop.
After uninstalling Photoshop (because it wasn’t opening properly), I now get this error message every time I try to launch it:
“Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory. Please reinstall the application.”
I have already tried the following steps, but the problem persists:
Uninstalled Photoshop through the Creative Cloud Desktop App.
Selected “Remove preferences” during uninstallation.
Used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove Photoshop and Creative Cloud completely.
Restarted the computer.
Manually deleted all remaining Adobe Photoshop folders from:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\
- Tried reinstalling Photoshop (latest version, and also older versions from “Other versions”), but the same error still appears when I try to open it.
I have an active paid Creative Cloud subscription and just want Photoshop to work again.
Could you please help me completely reset or repair my Photoshop installation?
Thank you so much in advance for your help!
