Hello, I've recently bought Photoshop, after the installation, not once it has worked correctly. It does not let me open any sort of file. Let's say I press "New", after that nothing pops up and I cannot use most of the buttons on PS. Opening doesn't work either, dragging the file also doesn't work, just doesn't react. Please assist.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
