Hi. I'm having issues with the Adobe Photoshop eraser tool. For some reason it just started acting like the paint bucket tool. Is there a fix for this? I'm using the Adobe Photoshop CS subscription. My computer is up to date with latest windows. I have no clue as to what can be affecting this.

A possible reason for your problem is that you are attempting to erase on the Background layer. Could you please share a screenshot that shows the Layers panel expanded and visible?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
