Photoshop “Export As” produces incorrect gradients

Question

Howdy.I’ve had this problem for years.  The “Export as” feature can’t be trusted to properly export gradients (see attached). Anyone know what the deal is with this? Thanks!

Please share your system info. You can find this by going to Help > System Info while in Photoshop.
Can you share the file you're seeing this issue with?

Also helpful to know:

Does the issue happen with Save As / Save a Copy, or only Export As?
Does it reproduce in a brand‑new test document with a simple gradient?
