Photoshop file not opening as error says file not compatible with this version of photoshop

Hi there, 

I was working on a file for the past week which is saved on creative cloud. Last night I was going through minor issues with the document as it was slowing down and not changing the size of one of the images I put, so I saved the document to the cloud and closed it and restarted my laptop in hopes that it will get rid of that problem. I try opening the document and it comes up with an error and says that the Photoshop file is incompatible even though it was made in its newest version and opened on that same version. Could I please get some help with this
