Photoshop hangs/crashes on Open and Save As

Hi, I'm using Photoshop 22.0 in Windows 11. Starting this morning, every time I tried to save a file, the program crashed. I quit Photoshop and reset preferences. Now, not only does it crash on save, it crashes when I use File-> Open...

Please advise.

Was able to open files in 24.0, but attempting Save As... produces the same hangup.

Thank you for reaching out. It sounds like we may need a bit more information from you to better understand what is going on. Can you also share your system info? You can find this by going to Help > System Info copying and pasting into a text file and attaching it here.

Update: Have installed Photoshop 24.0 and it will not launch.
