Photoshop has MAJOR issues when zooming in and rotating the canvas while using TourBox Elite controller.

I do retouch work and am redrawing line art backgrounds and Photoshop has HUGE issues when zooming in and trying to rotate the canvas. I am constantly having to hit the escape key to get the program to release from whatever it is doing when it gets confused as I zoom in and then try to rotate the canvas. Sometimes it will switch to the eyedropper tool when I am trying to zoom back out.

I am using the TourBox elite controller while doing this. Plug in is installed correctly. But it could be the controller that is causing the issue. Both programs are updated.

It does work better with the Photoshop’s internal rotation - but are there any settings I can tweak to get it to work better with TourBox?

It is much much worse since I updated to the 27.6.0 release.

Anyone else here have similar issues?

Coming back to update. It seems that the culprit in the issues I was having wasn’t the TourBox at all and was having Adobe bridge open at the same time as Photoshop to view my reference. Instead I started opening my references in Photoshop and moving them to my second screen and the problem stopped pretty much completely. I think the issue that I still experience with this are related to how fast I move and where my cursor is on the screen. So if anyone reading this is experiencing a similar issue I would suggest just going a little slower and being more precise

Thanks for this tip though. It might have helped as well. But I had already unlinked and re-linked Photoshop in Tourbox and do that after any adobe updates.

Shame to not be able to have Bridge open though for references. But alas, it’s a hog on resources. Hope this helps someone.
