HI,

Just one day on another photoshop keeps crashing when i try to make a mask or when i use the tool 'object selection'.

I saw there was an update available (25.2) , but that wasn't the issue. He still did the same thing. then i Went back to 2 older versions of Photoshop (24.7.2). but that didn't help either.

I've tried everything that's on the help page of adobe when it's crashing. I think it's a bug, because i can use the tool 'quick selection' but not 'object selection'. i can't make a mask, wich is really a shame.

I already contacted my IT-department, they don't even know where the problem is.

i work on windows10, maybe it's the issue that isn't windows 11? could that be a solution?

For now it's manage to work, when i dont make a mask or those other things, but it's really ineffectient working, and maybe there is someone who can help me?

thanks in advance!

yes, didn't work.

now, the last option is a clean swipe, so a completly reinstall for my laptop.

i work wit lenovo p14s, is this actually a good pc for graphic work?

on paper it does, but thats also an issue, he doesn't use the right gpu card.

no matter what the settings say, so that's why we do a complete reinstall.

No, photoshop is working sometimes and sometimes not.

it's definitly not working together with indesign. I just can't open it together, it's a disaster!

@sarahn0060595 "did it work for you" I'm not having any issues with Photoshop 25.2 on Windows 10 or 11, it's working fine on both my PC's

@sarahn0060595 have you tried manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to backup your settings before doing the preference reset
