This is a recurring problem I am having with photoshop

With photoshop 25.6 when I try to print a simple file that I have been able to print before. (text and visual 30MB)

When I try to print it Photoshop freezes and the chrashes.

I have tried a suggested options from the support pages

- shift print

-Flatten image

-Cleat temps files

-Reset preferences

-Disable GPU

- Drivers are latest

-Windows is updated (this is a new install)

- Shift lauch photoshop

-Reset font cache.

-Reverted to older version

Some files print no probleme, why do some files .

This is really concerning and this is not a new issue, lots of people seem to have this problem. I know my way around comptuers, and this is a super clean install, logs are not helpful.

Does anyone have suggestions thanks

Hey, @AmelieLegault. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. For now, I'll move this post to discussions. More info is required to help you figure this out.

Do you see a crash report? I've checked for crash reports but couldn't find any reports submitted by your account. Please submit the crash reports to us: https://adobe.ly/48ISSiy

Try this:

1 - Remove & reinstall the Printer drivers, set it up as a wired & primary Printer for you machine.
2 - Press & hold the Space key & go to File > Print to reset Photoshop's print dialogue specifically.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

I never had issues before but my printer wouldn't scan, so I updated the drivers and now photoshop crashes when I try to print. I tried the space key file, print thing but still crashed.

Hi, could you share the version of Photoshop you're using and your computer's operating system? You can try reinstalling the Printer drivers from scratch and check if that makes a difference. Also, try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4mbiFHq

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/4mbiGes

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks,
