Photoshop not opening on my computer after Creative Cloud update. Will only open in browser.

Question

I’ve already installed Photoshop 2026 and reinstalled it. I click “open” and nothing happens. Then I'm only given the option to use it in my browser. Program was working fin before the update.

I have a Mac with a Radeon Pro 575 4GB graphic processor.

4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor

32 GB of memory

and 2 TB of storage with 1.5 still available.

Running the latest macOS Ventura Version 13.7.8

I use this program everyday for my business, help is appreciated!

I have this issue. The Photoshop icon disappeared along with my install. Now I only have the ‘open in web browser’ option. What the hell Adobe? Where’s the program gone? I don’t want to use in an annoying browser, I want the program back!
