Photoshop only opens in Safe Mode, normal launch crashes

My photoshop only opens in safe mode when I sideline all plugins… however, even when I rename the plugins folder (to make it invisible to the application) it still won’t open in anything but safe mode, any suggestions?

I even resorted to completely uninstalling photoshop and erasing the settings in the library, to be able to make sure that new settings get installed with the new version, but still get the crash, and am only able to open in safe mode… 

What on earth is up?

    I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I hope the issue has been resolved by now. If you're still experiencing it, could you please share your System Info report?
