Photoshop PDF Bug

When opening a PDF design template within Photoshop, the dimensions are being squeezed. Confirmed file dimensions were good in Acrobat and was able to open in Illustrator without issue. See attached original files and screenshots.

When opening PDFs in Photoshop, distortion can happen if either the horizontal or vertical edge goes beyond 32,000 pixels. It seems you hit that limit based on your resolution and image size.

 

One way around this that helped other users in the past is to start with a new file in Photoshop, save it as a .psb (not .psd), then adjust the image size and resolution to what you need. After that, you can place the image you’re trying to edit into the new file.
