Photoshop Printing Duplicate Pages

Question

When I print from Photoshop, it is suddently printing two of everything. I have been printing the same item for years now, and suddently this week it prints two of the page. I haven't changed any settings. I updated the firmware and software on my printer (Epson ET-8500) and that didn't fix it. My settings on the printer and photoshop all reflect a single page being printed, but as soon as I hit print and go to the print center, it shows two pages being printed. I don't know how to fix this!!! Literally nowhere does anything show that I'm requesting duplicates. Even when I try to print it out of a different application, it prints just one page, for some reason this randomly started happening this week and only in Photoshop. I'm so frustrated because this is a set of labels I print several times a week and now it's printing so many every time; I have to run to my printer and hit cancel before a second page prints and wastes all my color ink.

@phxkid8 Is this just with one particular image file or any that you print?

You get 2 identical prints, right?

In Photoshop's own print window, I'm pretty confident that there is nowhere 'x 2' could be selected. It's not an option there

From that window, under Printer Setup you'll need to click "print settings"

- this opens the printer manufacturer's driver software.

This is what I see on mac:

You can see that my "copies" is set to 1. Is yours?

Search through the print settings options - it's REALLY likely that 'x2' is selected there somewhere.

When you print from a different application program it has its own print settings, so that’s not a way to test print settings sadly.

Could it be that the settings on the actual printer (if it has a control panel) could be set to x 2, this is very unlikley to be the issue - if you get a single print from other apps, though.
