I want to express my gratitude once again for your time and insight. I feel the need to share some additional thoughts regarding this matter. In my previous professional role, I worked as a troubleshooter and technical liaison for hardware and software engineering at a data communications company. Our main objective, aside from transferring data from one location to another, was to ensure the protection of data integrity. Even in the face of failure, maintaining the integrity of the data was of utmost importance. From this perspective, any occurrence of file corruption would be considered a flaw. In fact, regardless of the situation, file corruption should always be regarded as undesirable.

In my opinion, the issue of Photoshop corrupting my image can be categorized as a flaw, or in other words, a bug. One would expect that, at the very least, the user should be alerted in advance before system resources are depleted or become unavailable. Such warnings would indicate that the program's stability and the integrity of the files could no longer be guaranteed.
