Photoshop "recently used font" list bugged, (almost) always showing ONLY the last used font

As described in the title, Photoshop's "recently used fonts" list has been completely broken for me for a while. This has occurred on multiple photoshop versions (currently on 26.0.0) across multiple reinstalls, I've already tried "reset preferences", no luck. Here's a detailed description of the problem:

 I have no idea what could be causing the problem. It's most definitely not one of my fonts that's causing the issue. Having to deal with many fonts everyday, this bug has been driving me mad now. Any help resolving the issue would be greatly appreciated.
