Working in photshop using Imac Intell + sonoma, working with Big (PSB and PSD)files, +1tb, containing Smart Objects layers when saving, the file saved gets corrupted randomly, then the file can't be opened again in photoshop or if it opens some of the layers got corrpted, also loses their thumbnail in bridge and reports an unexpected end of file, and / or produces corrupted layers, making extremely hard work with the files in a higly demandong work flow.

Any suggestion, advice or solution.

File corruption is always caused by failing hardware, no exception.

Are you saving directly to an external drive, or over a network connection?

It looks like it eventually opened your file. Was your content there, when it opened? Have you tried to open your file from the File>Open command, or does the error happen when you do that, the same as when you click the files icon? Is this repeatable when saving to another drive? I've usually found this kind of error indicates a drive problem, but can't be sure based on your info. Please update us.
