Adobe photoshop versi 27.10.0

    Correct answer Anshul_Saini

    Hi @Prabu dennaga,

Thanks for reporting this. Since Photoshop stopped launching immediately after updating to 27.10, could you please try these tests:

    1. Launch without third-party plug-ins. Hold Shift while launching Photoshop. If prompted to skip loading optional and third-party plug-ins, choose Yes.

    2. Back up and manually reset Photoshop preferences. First, close Photoshop completely. Navigate to the Photoshop Settings folder:

    Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop <version>\Adobe Photoshop <version> Settings

    macOS: /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop <version> Settings

Copy the entire Adobe Photoshop Settings folder somewhere safe as a backup.

Then, rename the original Settings folder, for example, by adding _old to its name.
Launch Photoshop again. Photoshop will automatically create a fresh Settings folder with default preferences.
If Photoshop launches successfully now, please don’t restore the old Settings folder yet. Let us know, as that would indicate something in the previous preferences/settings was contributing to the launch failure.

    3. Open the Creative Cloud desktop app, go to apps > Beta > Install 27.11, and check whether that version launches normally. Please don’t uninstall 27.10 yet.

Also, could you tell us exactly what happens when you launch 27.10? For example, does the splash screen appear and stop at a particular item, does Photoshop close immediately, or do you receive an error message?

If you see an error, please share a screenshot of it. Also, let us know your Windows/macOS version and computer model.

If Photoshop gets far enough to open but then fails, please also go to Help > System Info > Copy and paste the information here.

The comparison with 27.11 beta will help us determine whether this is specific to the 27.10 update or something affecting Photoshop generally.

Great to hear that Photoshop is working again, @Prabu dennaga.

If you remember how it was resolved for you, could you let us know which step resolved it?

That information may help other users who encounter the same startup problem.

    Thanks for confirming!
